1. Waheeda Rehman in Delhi 6
Waheeda Rehman played the grandmother of Abhishek Bachchan in the movie Delhi 6. The movie was directed by Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra.
In the movie, Waheeda Rehman was perfect in all of her scenes playing the NRI grandmother.
2. Dina Pathak in Bollywood/Hollywood
Dina Pathak was an Indian actress. She was the director of Gujarati theatre. She had done noticeable work as an activist and remained the president of the National Federation of Indian Women.
There was a refreshing change from her moralist character in the movie Khubsoorat to Shakespeare quoting grandma in Bollywood/Hollywood.

The whole Paa movie is amazing, especially the casting. Big B was playing 12 years old son of Vidya Balan. Abhishek Bachchan was the father of Big B.

4. Farida Jalal in Kuch Kuch Hota Hai
Farida Jalal’s famous role from the movies as well as serials was the role of grandma. In the serial Shararat, she was the Dadi and oldest Pair of her family.
She has played the typical Punjabi Daadi in the movie Kuch Kuch Hota Hai. She was the partner in mischief with her granddaughter.
5. Kamlesh Gill in Vicky Donor
Kamlesh Gill was the quirky Dadi in the quirky movie Vicky Donor. She was very supportive of her grandson Vicky and continuously fought with her Bahu.
In the end, she was the lover of single malts and a gadget freak. Never saw Daadis any cooler than the one portrayed by Kamlesh Gill in Vicky Donor.
6. Shammi in Dil & Shirin Farhad Ki Toh Nikal Padi
Shammi Ji has been part of many Bollywood films and all the time she played the effervescent and cute granny in the movies.
However, if you want to pick a few movies of Shammi Ji, it would be the lovable and sympathetic granny from Madhuri Dixit starrer Dil, and Boman and Farah starrer Shirin Farhad Ki Toh Nikal Padi.

Bhumi and Taapsee played the shooter Daadi in the movie Saandh Ki Aankh. The movie was based on the real stories of two old women who won medals in shooting for India.
